Our History
Established in 1984
Walker Brothers Machinery Moving was founded by David and Curtis Walker with a Ford-150 pickup truck and a monorail tractor. From the humble beginnings of a 2-man operation, it was the start of what would become one of the largest machinery moving operations in California.
The Early Years: 1986
Our early goals involved building a strong foundation for the business, including expanding our knowledge and experience through higher education and valuable time working in the industry.
Continued Growth: 1992
We continued to grow our business by establishing strong relationships with several machinery manufacturers, such as Haas, Fadal, Mori Seiki, Okuma, Cincinnati, GE, Siemens and Mazak.
Vision Takes Shape: 1997
Over a 7 year period, our vision for Walker Brothers really took shape. Our expansions included purchasing a 70,000 sqft facility in Anaheim, CA and a 34,000 sqft building in Mira Loma, CA.
Big Steps: 2005
We further increased our capabilities with the addition of another 70,000 sqft storage facility, a 500-ton gantry crane, five 140k capacity forklifts, and specialty heavy hauling equipment.
New Division: 2012
In 2012, we added the Walker Brothers Transport division, providing nationwide long-haul, heavy-haul, and brokerage services with a dedicated fleet of heavy-haul trucks and trailers.
Joining Omega Morgan: 2023
In 2023, Walker Brothers joined the Omega Morgan group of companies, creating an industrial services powerhouse based in the Western United States. The joining of the two organizations provides our customers with unparalleled access to a full suite of services across our machinery moving, specialized transportation, and industrial services divisions.
