Timeline
Early Years
1986-1992 In the early years our goal was to build a strong foundation by expanding our knowledge and experience through higher education and valuable time working in the industry. By 1992 our efforts had begun to pay off and we added our first full size rig a Kenworth K-100 cabover diesel. This was a pivotal time for us and great investment which helped us gain a foothold in the industry allowing us to service a wider range of customers.
Continued Growth
1992-1994 we continued to grow our business by establishing strong professional relationships with several machinery manufacturers including Haas, Fadal, Mori Seiki, Okuma, Cincinnati, GE, Siemens and Mazak. With this growth we were able to acquire three new Freightliner trucks and trailers increasing our fleet to four trucks. At this point there was no turning back and in 1996 we increased our staff, added two trucks, several forklifts and took ownership of our first building with 11k square ft. of storage space.
Vision Takes Shape
1997-2004 our vision was really taking shape and during this period we purchased a 70k square ft. facility in Anaheim, CA, a 34k square foot building in Mira Loma, CA, expanded to some 40 employees, and added several more trucks, trailers and specialty forklifts greatly increasing our ability to service larger contracts for moving and storage.
Big Steps
2005-2010 we took big steps to increase our capabilities with the addition of another 70k square foot storage facility, a 500ton gantry crane, five 140k capacity forklifts, specialty heavy haul trucks, trailers and additional support equipment making us one of the premier machinery and equipment movers in the southwest.
New Division
2012-2013 we added a new Walker Brothers Transport division providing nationwide long-haul, heavy-haul and brokerage services with a dedicated fleet of heavy-haul transport trucks and trailers including step decks, double drops, 7, 9 and 13 axle combos to provide a wide range of transportation options for most any job.
