Heavy Equipment & Machinery Moving

Walker Brothers Machinery Moving, Inc.

Walker Brothers Machinery Moving - Company imagesIn 1984, we started our heavy equipment moving business with a 1980 Ford F-150 truck and a monorail trailer. By 1986, we were ready to hire our first employee and while still pulling a monorail trailer, upgraded to a Ford F-250.

From 1986 through 1992 we pursued our educations while continuing to build Walker Brothers on the side. By 1992, we had purchased our first “big” truck, a Kenworth K-100 Diesel Cabover. Next, in 1994 we purchased three Freightliners and expanded our business by beginning relocation of equipment for new manufacturers including Fadal, Haas, Mori Seiki and Mazak. We increased to five employees.

By 1996, we had added an additional two trucks, increasing the total to five, purchased an 11,000 sq. ft. building, and expanded to eight employees.  Between 1997 and 2000, we added another five trucks, increasing the total to 10, purchased a 70,000 sq. ft. building and expanded to 15 employees.

In 2001, we added a sales team and expanded our team to 20 employees.

During the years 2002 to 2004, we continued strong growth. By adding trucks, trailers and specialized forklifts and doubling our employee base to 40, we increased our ability to acquire large capacity contracts. A 34,000 square-foot facility at Mira Loma was added.

In 2005, moving capacity was again dramatically increased from 60 tons to 500 tons. By 2008, Walker Brothers had become The choice in equipment moving for the Southwest U.S. Purchasing an additional three Freightliners, we now have a large fleet of trucks, trailers and forklifts and 50 employees anxious to meet your moving needs.

Today, we continue to see great things happening. In 2009 we added another 140,000 lb. forklift to our fleet of equipment making that two 140,000 lb. lifts and the only machinery moving company on the west coast with that kind of capacity. We are now up to 210,000 sq. ft. of storage capacity with the addition of a new building in Anaheim.

At Walker Brothers Machinery Moving our company caters to clients all over the US, Canada and Mexico. Our machinery moving and relocating services are used in industries, as varied as aerospace contractors, power generation and laboratories.
